Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur travel to Etihad Stadium to play Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City who have a chance to go eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
Spurs, meanwhile, need a win to stay in contention of a top-four finish.
City have been in dazzling form, having won their last 15 games across all competitions and the Manchester based club look to be well on their way to silverware this season. Tottenham meanwhile have been off form of late, having lost four of their last five games in all competitions.
This fixture also pits two legendary rivals in coaches Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho against each other.
Recent results against each other
In their last five meetings in the Premier League, both teams have registered two wins against each other. Tottenham, however, emerged victorious in the 2018-19 UEFA Champions League quarter-final triumph against City.
The troika of Kevin De Bruyne, Sergio Aguero and Nathan Ake all remain absent for City. Elsewhere, Guardiola is also sweating over the fitness of Rodrigo who was injured against Swansea City and Brazilian Fernandinho who is suffering from a quad problem.
For Spurs, Gareth Bale sat out against Everton after yet another setback and remains a doubt for this game as well. Jose Mourinho could also be without both his starting full-backs. Sergio Reguilon picked up a muscle injury last month, while Serge Aurier injured his foot earlier this week.
Meanwhile, Giovani Lo Celso is also out, as he is still recovering from a hamstring injury that occurred in December last year.
